About the Role
This Senior Account Manager role offers the opportunity to take ownership of exciting client accounts, shape strategic PR campaigns, build trusted client relationships and oversee talented juniors.
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

Driving strategic, integrated PR campaigns for financial and professional services clients, ensuring activity aligns with campaign objectives.

Generating high profile media coverage and responding quickly to the changing news agenda.

Taking a strategic view of accounts, using campaign performance, media coverage and market developments to refine activity and identify new opportunities.

Building strong client relationships, acting as a trusted day-to-day adviser and confidently leading client calls, meetings and presentations.

Managing account teams, delegating effectively, and coaching junior team members.

Contributing to new business and identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts.

Building strong media relationships, attending high-level press meetings and developing a valuable network of relevant media contacts.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a Senior Account Manager within a PR and communications agency, with experience working across financial and/or professional services clients.
You’ll bring:

Circa 4–6 years’ corporate communications experience.

Strong client relationship, communication and presentation skills.

Experience managing, motivating and developing junior team members.

Strong knowledge of social media tools, channels and strategies.
-
An understanding of crisis communications and how to respond effectively.

Salary: £40,000–£50,000, depending on experience
