Senior Account Executive – Financial and Professional Services PR

About the Role

This Senior Account Executive role offers the opportunity to work across exciting client accounts (predominantly financial and professional services clients), contribute to strategic PR campaigns, build strong client relationships and develop your skills within a collaborative and ambitious team.

You’d be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of strategic, integrated PR campaigns for financial and professional services clients.

  • Generating high-profile media coverage and responding quickly to the changing news agenda.

  • Working closely with Account Managers and senior team members to deliver high-quality client work.

  • Building strong media relationships and developing a valuable network of relevant journalists and influencers.

  • Contributing ideas for campaigns, content and new business opportunities.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive within a PR and communications agency, with experience working across financial and/or professional services clients.

You’ll bring:

  • Circa 2–4 years’ corporate communications or PR experience.

  • Experience working with financial and/or professional services clients, ideally within an agency environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Confidence communicating with clients and contributing to meetings and presentations.

  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • A strong understanding of the media landscape and experience securing quality coverage.

  • Good knowledge of social media tools, channels and strategies.

  • A genuine interest in financial and professional services and the wider news agenda.

Salary: £33,000–£38,000, depending on experience
