They have an incredible reputation and are now looking for an consultant, experienced within public affairs and policy advocacy to join their award-winning healthcare team.
Role overview
The successful candidate provides high-quality public affairs and policy services to existing clients, together with creative contribution towards new business activity including acquisition, development and pitching.
The team works with the most exciting healthcare and life sciences organisations, responsible for some of the most important breakthroughs in medical science. With over half of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical companies, as well as NHS providers, health technology businesses and charities amongst their clients, they offer a diverse and compelling range of issues and opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Consultant
- Provide timely and relevant review of public affairs monitoring reports to highlight key issues
- Develop policy content expertise and provide impactful written policy insight
- Draft early day motions, parliamentary questions and briefing notes for clients
- Build demonstrably
- Build demonstrably effective working relationships with MPs, Peers offices, civil servants in central government and arm’s length bodies relating to the health systems
- Project manage client events including Parliamentary and stakeholder events and new business marketing events
- Contribute creatively towards new business pitches and brainstorms
Skills & Experience Required of the Consultant
- Experience in policies and public affairs
- Interest in working within healthcare
