This leading brand in the training and development space is currently for a Head of Training for their L&D Business Unit. This is a new role aligned with corporate strategy and is senior and critical training related business position and will be responsible for defining a strategy and implementing it. It will require well developed commercial, financial and people management skills to manage and grow the training business unit successfully.

The post requires an experienced business leader, with significant people management experience. The jobholder should have a background in L&D and business development and experience of managing a profit responsible business unit, ideally within the training space.

The jobholder should be financially astute, with previous experience of developing and managing a significant profit centre for learning and development training services, with a track record in growing revenue and improving profitability.
This is a very exciting role with a genuine market leading organisation and as such requires someone operating at the highest levels within business, L&D and the training sphere as a whole.

You will be experienced in developing business plans, designing and assessing leading edge training and L&D programmes and qualifications as well as an understanding of the educational market for professional qualifications and distance learning.
The organisation runs over 400 annual events and delivers training for over 50 qualifications.
The job is one of continually innovating and new product development. The ability to design and implement leading edge courses and qualifications, to meet customer needs, is essential.
